Northstar Power LTD was created to take advantage of a growing market for third party, alternative power generation for medium-to-large power consumers. The Company is positioned as a third-party "cogenerator" of power, where cogeneration ("cogen") is the technology of generating more than one type of energy (electrical and thermal) from a single fuel source. As one might expect, the market demographics are enormous, and the opportunity is unlimited. Initially, Northstar will focus its efforts on providing cogeneration energy to a myriad of market segments domestically: resort hotels, commercial laundries, corrections facilities, large casinos, and various healthcare institutions.

Northstar will then enter specific international market(s), e.g. Europe, Middle East, India, and China, where Northstar has strong relationships in a variety of business enterprises. The Company was legally formed as a Nevada LLC in May 2005, and capitalized with seed money from its principals and private equity investors. The principals are seasoned veterans of business, and its Chief Engineer has more than 30 years of cogen and energy industry experience, where he and his team of engineers have designed and commissioned over 100 successful installations.
